Excellent week for “E”

We started our letter E learning with tracing and name practice since Alexis' name has an "e" in it...

then we did E/e practice using elephants...

elephant memory...

and had fun playing crazy eights!

We finished up by singing the alphabet using our alphabet blanket!

Kieryn rocked her game on Monday! She served over-hand like a pro! We are sad that next week is her last game!

On Tuesday we did an exercise puzzle...

played "eye spy"...

And did an egg match... uppercase letter to lowercase letter. Alexis surprised me by knowing many letters that we haven't covered in over a year! :)

We ended our day by gathering REAL eggs at Uncle Jeff's house!

On Thursday started our day using envelopes for practicing size order, sorting, and E/e practice...

We did a brief bible lesson on how God created Everything!

and spent time building an EXCELLENT engine track!

we even had time to take a field trip! We hiked on a trail out at Tuttle...

and saw an eagle's nest!

We finished up letter e on Friday by using an excavator to sort E/e and making faces to talk about emotions.

There's a lot of construction going on in our area so each time we took a trip we tried to see and count all the excavators.

The dogs got haircuts... Kieryn wanted to do a before and after...

Until next time!
