Family Fun!

Ronan began his week with a big fall... he fell head first down our driveway chasing a ball... this is his first real bad boo-boo...he cried for a bit, but he's tough!

We spent one morning at Bull Frog Valley - biking, feeding ducks, throwing rocks picnic at the park, soccer - it was so fun!

We went peach picking on another morning... the kids actually had a blast!

So far I've made Peach sauce and peach strawberry fruit leathers...hope to freeze peach slices and make a peach pie!

We went swimming one day... might be our last since the weather has been so cold lately...

We visited Bass Pro on a rainy day... the kids had a lot of fun in the quarter rides and in the theater arcade.

We visited the train store...

Then on Saturday we had family fun playing in the  dirt...

Until next time...

Fun Fun FUN!!

The kids had fun watching Daddy play softball this week... well, ok, they watched only briefly and then went back to playing... but had fun either way!

They really have fun watching Thomas the Train together...

Kieryn filled her helpful jar with all 75 helpful stones, so she got to pick a treat. We walked up and down the toy aisles and guess what she ended up picking...chocolate! Go figure!

Fun at home!

Over the weekend we got to see our friends from NY. They had lived in Palmyra and moved in April. We had so much fun with them at Hershey Park, at the camp ground, and at Chocolate world! What a busy weekend!

Playing together...

Every day these two are becoming better and better friends... there are still fights, but for the most part, they are beginning to play  more together! It melts my heart!!

During the month of August we are working on days of the week, months (kind of) and numbers (1-31). Each morning we do song and look at what day it is. We practice counting and looking at our past activities. Then, Kieryn gets to add the activity for the day to her calendar. She really enjoys it!

After the first day she decided to plan out her month when no one was looking... and then she wanted to tell me all about it while in her high heels. She means business! :)

We finally had time to make our shell craft using the shells we collected from our vacation in June to Rohoboth Beach.

Kieryn wasn't sure at first, but really enjoys putting her toothbrush and toothpaste in it now! She even made one for Ronan, so each kid has their own.

We attended the "Family Night Out" festivities put on by the local fire station. It was great! Lots of booths, candy, kid games, face painting, etc. Kieryn and Ronan had a blast!

Kieryn tried cotton candy for the first time! Loved it of course!

Both kids had fun climbing in the fire trucks.

Both kiddos wanted to help me dust this week... so they were dancing and dusting their train table together. It was so cute!

Kieryn climbed into Ronan's bed for some quality reading/play time after he woke up from his nap. I guess she missed him while he was sleeping.

On Friday we visited the ZooAmerica. The kids liked seeing all the animals. They even got to pet a turtle!

We spent the day on Saturday at Hershey Park and went again on Sunday evening with friends! We really love the park!

Fun Summer Week!

The weather has been cooler and cloudy so we've been able to do fun things during the day without worrying about heat (or too much sun)! We began the week exploring something new. Lebanon has a creamery/dairy where you can look at and feed their animals, eat ice cream, and play on two different kiddy play areas! Great morning adventure; we left at 9:30am and got home at 12:30pm... the kids loved it!

They had lots of animals: goat, pony, chicken, hog, cow, and donkey. The girls found a stray chicken and had fun watching it peck around.

The past two weeks have been crazy with softball (3+ nights per week), but this week was the final week for our church league. I guess it all paid off as the team took 1st place!

The kids had fun watching Daddy!

On Friday we found a new ride with our friends at Hershey Park...

Then,on Saturday we spent the morning at Bull Frog Valley Pond and Shank Park! The kids always enjoy a bike ride on the path, feeding the ducks, and of course- throwing rocks!

Until next week...
