Last week we decided to do Christmas activities to get the kids excited for the holiday! It was fun to have Kieryn with us for all the fun after Tuesday! On Monday Janell had Ronan so I could work at the gym. They talked about the Christmas story and did a Christmas tree activity.
On Tuesday I had the boys! We played with the Christmas game I brought to Kieryn's class party... The "Christmas bulb hit" lasted for a while!
Then we talked about the candy cane and learned about what the colors mean and why it is shaped like a J (for Jesus) We practiced patterns by making one.
On Wednesday we water colored a "color" by number Christmas picture.
Ronan did a shape match too...
We started Thursday with some fun! We got to watch/help Kieryn loose her first tooth! It was great that both Steven and I were home to experience it!
On Thursday night he kids went to Janell and Brad's for some Christmas fun while Steven and I went out to eat and finish Christmas stuff...they had a Christmas meal...
Played Christmas bingo...
And read Christmas stories! They ended the evening by watching the Polar Express! Oh what fun!!
On Friday we played a Christmas (dice counting) game...
We practiced some cutting...
And learned some new Christmas jokes!
We had a fun Christmas lunch...
Then Friday night we had the Caywood boys for Christmas fun while Janell and Brad went to dinner and finished their Christmas stuff. We played limbo...
Made a yummy Christmas tree dessert... And later played a game called "sounds of Christmas". What a fun night!!
After the Caywoods left we got some hot chocolate and went on a Christmas light ride in our PJs.
We celebrated our own family Christmas on Saturday morning! The kids were excited to see all the gifts!
After lunch we drove to Seneca for Christmas Eve mass.
We opened a few gifts before bed...
The next morning we had more things to open! It was an amazing day!! Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Haug for all the gifts and fun!!
