Happy Thanksgiving!!

No school this week! Just relaxing, games, and getting out Christmas things!

We had a yummy Thanksgiving meal, games, legos, and football!

Lots of football this weekend...

Just Jazzy Week!

This week Alexis learned about letter J!

We started on Monday with jewels and jewelry...

We practiced some shapes and finding what was "different" on the pictures...



Tyson was awake and enjoying the lesson too!





On Tuesday we talked about jelly fish and had fun making one...





Later we practiced some number recognition...







On Wednesday we used jelly beans to practice size order...



and shape matching...



and color sorting with some counting.





Because it was Alexis's dinner night we made jello to enjoy for her dessert.





On Thursday we talked about jungles. We practiced some story telling using jungle, jeep, jack rabbits, and jaguars!







Then we had fun making a jaguar!





ALSO on Thursday, Tyson turned 3 months old!













On Friday we finished up some school with the big kids so Alexis didn't have a formal lesson.

We enjoyed weekend with football, golf, and some much needed deep cleaning in the basement! 

Interesting and Invigorating Week of "i"

We had a fun week learning about letter "I"...

We started on Monday with shape matching...

and then got out our instruments and did indian dancing!





Kieryn thought Tyson should participate too...









On Tuesday we did some color sorting and insect counting.





We practiced tracing and some pattern practice with more insects.



We even had time later to practice Alexis's name...





and we always have time for snuggles!!







On Wednesday we did some letter review...



And for dessert after lunch we had an ice cream social!





The big kids had to "buy" their toppings as practice with counting money! I gave them only change, so they had to do a lot of counting. :)





Wednesday is Alexis's dinner night. She chose to make pigs in a blanket and she did it nearly all by herself!





On Thursday we watched some ice skater videos and practiced some smallest to biggest...



Then we turned on some music and the kids showed off their ice skating skills!







Later we played with ice and tried to make igloos...
