Fun week!

Christmas week! A lot of "last times"! On Monday we spent the morning with friends at a really fun place called "Let's Pretend." It had lots of pretend activities for the kids! It was hard to pull them away for naps! Because we had nearly everything packed at this point I tried to get the kids out as much as possible! Luckily we have been blessed with mild weather!

On Tuesday we visited our good friends the McFeaters for the last time. We spent the morning on the Karaoke machine singing "Let It Go," and Christmas songs. We also got to decorate cookies!!

On Wednesday the kids got to hang with their friends the Taylor's while I did some packing and cleaning. We are really going to miss all our friends! Thanks Shannon for helping out!

That evening we made our last visit to Chocolate World.

This is how we left the house on Wednesday night. We left early Thursday morning, 7am, for Christmas in Maryland!

The kids we smiling so great in their Christmas mass outfits!

We left carrots and cookies for Santa that night and the kids were excited to see gifts under the tree the next morning.

We were blessed to share Christmas dinner and evening with Tiana. The kids had fun opening gifts and playing!

We head back to Pennsylvania today, 26th, to load our trailer. We plan to be on the road early tomorrow, 27th, for our 2-day drive to Kansas! Please keep us in your prayers!  Merry Christmas to all!!

Christmas Time Again!

We took a break from the alphabet this week to do Christmas activities! We began Monday by making snowflakes to decorate!

Then we counted snowballs...

And had an indoor snowball toss, followed by a snowball fight!

While Kieryn was at at school, Ronan and I went up to the construction site to see all the fun. Ronan loved it!

That night I let the kids have sensory play in the tub. They had a blast with this one! I had to shut it down when the splashing got a bit out of hand ;)

On Tuesday we did a Christmas friends mix-n-match. This was a brief lesson because it was the day of Kieryn's school program. No pics on my phone, sorry! May post some after the move.

On Wednesday we did Christmas tree activities! First we did a color match...

Then we built a tree counting by 10s.

And played a tree memory game. They had fun with this one.

That afternoon/evening we visited Chocolate World with our good friends, Ron and Bobbie. The kids will really miss them!

Thursday bright and early (5am) was my last fitness class at Paramount. My ladies surprised me with a breakfast send off! Gonna miss them!

Thursday was Kieryn's last day of preschool so we joined her for her PJ party. When we got home we had a lazy day picnic to celebrate her final day. Had to do it inside because of the pouring rain.

That afternoon we talked about the real meaning of Christmas. We did a present match game...

And did pretend play with the nativity.

That night we did some "nativity" pattern practice with Daddy.

On Friday I worked my last shift at Paramount in the Kidmaze. We didn't do an activity because we spent the morning packing for our weekend in Maryland and Virginia for the Hamlin Christmas. Sadly those pics are also on my camera and I can't upload them because we've packed the computer! We had a wonderful time catching up with the family and will miss seeing everyone after the move! Thank you to Aunt Marty who spoiled us with some family heirloom silver! We are excited to shine it and put it in our new home soon!

After Sunday, we are down to 3 days left for packing and cleaning. We have a good handle on it so we are not feeling stressed... I can't decide if being so organized and packed up early is a good thing or not.... Instead of being consumed with the to-dos of moving it is allowing more time to feel a little sad. The plus is that we are getting to see and hang with friends right up to our last day. There's always good and bad I guess! Ok, last 3 days... HERE WE GO!

Naughty or Nice?!?

This week was letter "N". We began the week with our letter book and quick video/song. Then we practiced tracing and made a name necklace!

On Monday after Kieryn was finished at school we went with friends to Bass Pro for the last time. It was a treat because Bass Pro had free visits with Santa! There were fish, a carousel, and  lots of kid friendly games.

On Tuesday we practiced counting to nine and tracing. We then painted a picture of the North Pole! We talked about being naughty or nice and watched a Nemo clip later that day.

On Wednesday we made shape ninjas and nunchucks! We counted ninjas and watched a video of some nunchuck tricks and then the kids tried. They had a blast with this one!

That afternoon we practiced catching different things in our net.

On Thursday we practiced tracing and then played with newspaper. We tore it and glued the letter n, we then we played a game trying to catch it on different body parts.

Did some packing on Thursday and the kids wanted to "help". They call the boxes their boats.

On Friday we practiced tracing and then making letter N and shapes out of noodles. After shapes we played pretend with the noodles. This was their favorite!

The weather was super nice on Thursday and Friday. We luckily got to make one last visit to the zoo and CoCoa Castle park with friends on either day. We are really going to miss these places!

Until next week...14 days until we load the trailer and drive to KS!
