Christmas is Here!

We started our Christmas week with a COVID shot for the kids! They did very well and felt fine other than a sore arm…

We spent the week doing fun Christmas activities… light rides, hot chocolate, Christmas movies, baking, delivering goodies to friends and neighbors, gingerbread houses, and salt dough ornaments! It was a great week!

Because Alexis, Tyson, and Daddy were feeling sick we decided to do church online and open some family gifts on Christmas Eve…

Alexis made sure to set out cookies for Santa…

The big kids all woke up excited and energetic but Tyson was not up for it at all…

Despite crying, runny noses, coughs, and low grade fevers, we still had a blast opening gifts and sharing the Christmas morning together!

The day after Christmas was spent by resting, relaxing, and playing… some rested more than others… even when they fought it…

We ended the week with a Chief victory! What an awesome week!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you and yours! From the Copp Family!!

Last week of school before break!

We started our letter K week with kickball and kinetic sand…

Then we practiced counting by adding jewels to the King’s crown… then we watched part of 🦁 Lion King!

That evening we lead the 4-H Walmart adventure to purchase Christmas gifts for 3 kids in need. It was a great chance for kids to practice staying on budget!

On Tuesday we found what was different and then played with keys!

We even tried to make different shapes with the keys!

On Tuesday night we went caroling with the Oliver Brown music teacher. It was followed with hot chocolate! So fun!!

On Wednesday we talked about the colors that have a K in their name… colored…had alphabet cookies…

Traced, then played with Koala puppets!

These two started their Thursday with dress up!

Later we did K/k matching, name practice, shapes…

And then we flew a new Elsa kite!

Tyson had just as much fun with his bag kite!

We had a quick lesson on Friday before heading to gymnastics. Quickly becoming the favorite activity for the week!

What better way to finish letter K week than going to a KSU basketball game! We had so much fun and the Lady Cats won!

On Sunday we ventured to Seneca for a Haug family Christmas. Fun to see people and catch up!

Tyson wouldn’t go near Santa… great day though!!

Next week is Christmas, yeah!!
