Spook-tacular week!

I had fun this week with Kieryn's lunches... Because we were covering Halloween for the preschool lesson I tried to make her lunches a Halloween theme each day!

On Monday we talked about what the leaves were doing in the fall! We collected some and did sorting, patterns, and counting.

Then we did a leaf rubbing...

And glued a leaf picture...

We enjoyed spider cookies for dessert... Ronan loved it!

That night we carved our jack-o-lanterns!

Ronan didn't like the slimy seeds...

Tuesday lunch...

I had Micah on Tuesday. We had fun with bats. We first learned where they live, what they eat, and when we see them... Then we did a shape match...

We did practice with biggest to smallest and vice versa...

Then we had a bat snack!

I think they liked it!

We finished by making a handprint bat and decorating it with chalk...

The boys had fun making them fly all over the house!

We had a picnic lunch with Gavin to enjoy the wonderful Fall weather!

On Wednesday we surprised Kieryn and joined her for lunch at school.

On Thursday Ronan was at Aunt Janell's they counted candy corn and practiced tearing and gluing to make a big paper candy corn! I forgot to take a pic of Kieryn's lunch on Thursday, it was pumpkin theme...

Kieryn's Friday lunch...

Friday was fun because Ronan went to the library story time about insects with Micah in the morning! When we got home we practiced folding to make spider legs...

Yummy lunch treat...

That afternoon we got to join Lieryn for her class party. I brought jack-o-lantern fruit cups, and Halloween trail mix; complete with ghost shaped cereal, chocolate eyeballs, monster skin (dried apples), and vampire fangs (candy corn). The kids loved it!

On Saturday Kietyn got to go to a classmate's birthday party. They wore Halloween costumes and hit a piƱata for even more candy!

On Sunday we attended Boo at the Zoo with some friends.

Afterwards we ventured to Auburn for the Copp family birthday dinner! What a fun week and weekend!

Just Joyous!

It was a really fun week because Kieryn had Monday, Thursday, and Friday off for parent teacher conferences. She really enjoyed doing the lessons with Ronan again... I let her do all the cutting and gluing and tried to make her part more challenging. We did a J Jaguar...and it's spots spelled their names!

Later we did a Jake puzzle together...

After our lesson, Kieryn and I got our hair cut. Our beautician gave Kieryn some pink in her hair... Made her day!

We met Lu for lunch at Anneburg park... The pic below was what she sent me about an hour after I dropped her off at Founders! Luckily she and Daniel's building was not affected!

On Tuesday Ronan went to Janell's. They did J stamping! On Wednesday I had the boys! We did a jewel J shape match...

Then we took turns telling a story... It was a jungle scene and characters available were a jeep, 3 jack rabbits, and 3 jaguars. The boys really liked this one!

We did some J/j matching... When I held up a little j the boys had to jog and find a little j... When I held up the big J they had to jump and grab the big j. Very fun!

Then we made a j using jewels...

Thursday was PJ day with Kieryn! We did tracing...

Finding what was different...

Jelly bean shape match...

And putting in order big to small and vice versa...

Then we did a special jump to practice getting a jacket on...

Color match and a treat!

On Friday we did some serious jumping at the open play time!

Then we spent Friday after noon trick or treating in Aggieville with the Caywoods! We even got to see the Uncles during the KSU homecoming parade!

Thanks again to Mom and Dad Haug for a date day to the KSU game! Thank you grandma Haug for babysitting!! We had a blast!

We spent Saturday evening at the Ade Circle Ranch! They were having a horse play day so we got to go and see them practice and have Chilli and cinnamon rolls!

It was a very fun week and weekend! Until next time...
