X-cellent week!

Alexis and Tyson had fun learning about letter X! We started on Monday by matching colors and playing on the xylophone!

On Tuesday we played tic-tac-toe, and had fun making x with pipe cleaners, our fingers, arms, legs, blankets, toys, etc!

On Wednesday we learned what an x-ray does…

That evening the Girls on the run had to practice indoors due to weather… second to last practice before the big 5K race!

Also on Thursday evening was Ronan’s musical! He was thing One!

On Friday we talked about words that end with x and had fun decorating a box fort!

And Alexis had a blast at gymnastics with her friends- x-treme fun!!

On Saturday the girls and I got dressed up for Aunt Kaylee’s baby shower! We had a great time!!

Then on Sunday I ventured with Kieryn and Ronan to Topeka for a 4-H photo clinic. They had a blast taking pictures! We couldn’t have asked for a better day!

I brought home a special picture just for Alexis! She LOVES yellow and dandelions! She loved it!

Until next time!

Wild Week!

Alexis and Tyson learned about letter W this week! We started Monday with some water colors, wiggly worm counting, and a walk in "Wildcat Woods" a neighboring community.

Kieryn has really enjoyed her Monday night volleyball clinic!

On Tuesday we painted with water...

And collected some "beautiful" yellow weeds from a playground!

We had a quick lesson on Wednesday about watermelons before heading to a playdate...

More painting on Thursday...this time we decorated our wooden wands!

On Friday we did a letter W search...

Then we played with "heavy/light" by adding weights to a wagon and making laps around the kitchen...

And we practiced our colors with wands!

We took time on Saturday to read and talk about Easter... then we went to an egg hunt...

And later Alexis and Ronan and I went to a Wildcat baseball game and saw Willie (perfect for letter W week!!) Ronan was napping and Kieryn wasn't feeling well...

On Easter Sunday Kieryn was still sick so I took the three youngest to Seneca. It snowed and rained on us so we did the egg hunt in the basement. It was good to see and catch up with family! We also celebrated Dad's birthday. Alexis and Ronan helped me make a delicious cake!

The kids loved snuggling the baby puppies!!

Until next time!
