Very Very Vivacious Week!

Alexis and Tyson learned about letter V this week! Tyson has shown more interest in doing what we are doing for our lessons so I have tried to give him things to do as well!

Vase, vines…

Ronan started his golf clinic on Mondays and loves playing with a close friend!

Tuesday we learned about volcanoes and we did some vacuum practice!

On Wednesday we practiced numbers, counting, and tracing using vegetables! Then we played volleyball!

And made a Very fun box house

Had to pause game night for bed time so we’ll try next week for a winner…

On Thursday we practiced sorting and tracing and playing/making hills for our vehicles of choice!

On Friday we visited gymnastics and played with some very good friends!

When we got home we played Vet! Toby and Maddie didn’t really feel like cooperating so we practiced our vet skills on a few stuffed animals instead.

On Saturday the kids attended KSU open house with Dad while I taught a babysitter class for 11-14 year olds from 8-4pm.

On Sunday Kieryn enjoyed her Girls On The Run social at a KSU sorority.

Afterwards we picked up Alexis and Ronan and headed to the Flint Hills for a 4-H outdoor adventure!

I asked a KSU geologist to talk with our kids about the colored rock layers in Manhattan and teach us about some fossils…

She was AMAZING! And the kids had a blast! They hunted for treasures for 2 hours and were still putting things in their buckets as they were leaving. It was such a fun experience!

We also took time to be model citizens and collect trash in our area… to leave it cleaner than we found it…collected 2 trash bags full!

Such a wonderful experience! The kids are already planning their next fossil hunt! Thanks Karin for all you did to make the day memorable!!

Until next time!
