Letter N - great week!

We started letter N week with a new puzzle called “night trains!” Alexis is so good at puzzles!

Our sensory bin this week was noodles! We played in it multiple days!

Ventured to Wamego park to enjoy the warm temperatures…





On Tuesday we had fun learning letter N with Nemo… lacing



Fishing…using a net…







And feeding the right “nugget” to the correct fish.. N/n sorting! 

Our play date got canceled on Wednesday so we visited Eisenhower gym for some running and shooting!



And climbing…





When we got home we made some noise by ripping and crinkling newspapers…





And then had fun shooting Nerf guns!









Wednesday was game night and it was an intense match of Battleships! The game ended in a tie so we gave the trophy to Tyson this week! He was excited!

On Thursday we went to the library and had fun looking for Kieryn’s art project that was pick to be on display!

Ronan got to scrimmage in his Thursday night practice but sadly his game was canceled for Sunday…








On Friday we did a brief N lesson before heading to gymnastics!





We had fun making shapes with the yarn!





Ronan was featured in the online Mercury newspaper  on Friday!



On Saturday we took a trip to Seneca to help butcher… Tyson, Alexis, and Ronan weren’t interested in helping so we played and explored outside…



Kieryn helped nearly the whole time. She said it was fun!







Kieryn played a basketball game on Sunday but her team lost. She still had fun!

M- Might Nice Week!

We started Monday a bit slower since the Kieryn and Ronan didn’t have school… Tyson got a haircut! And we did letter M after lunch…

Played mouse trap…



Took advantage of the weather…



Alexis was so tired from staying up late and watching the Chiefs game on Sunday night… power nap in the garage…



Later we played marbles,



And Old Maid



On Tuesday we started the day by making muffins!



We played a matching memory game while they baked…



And then we took our muffins to the park!



Had to do the merry-go-round!



And then played magnets!





On Thursday we had some silly monkey business…



Made some music…







Monkeys in a mug…



Alexis asked for milk in a mug for M week all on her own! 



Then, made more music!



Kieryn was the game night champ!



Tyson thought he should be the winner…



On Thursday we played with matching and money…







We talked about the coins and tried some matching/patterns…





Alexis made Mac and Cheese for her dinner nite!



On Saturday we (me and Heather the foods and nutrition leaders) conducted a 4-H kids cooking class. We talked about knife safety and made apple butter!





So grateful for the Mom’s who helped make the class a success!





On Sunday, Kieryn and Ronan had their first basketball games! Both played well and had a great time!!
