Busy little workers!

Not many pics this week as we were busy at the new house. I will try to take more this week. On Monday we spent time cooking, baking, and packing for the upcoming week. We even managed a haircut for Ronan. He looks so grown up!

We got a new roof on the house on Tuesday!

We even enjoyed some asparagus from our little garden out back (I did not plant this, we discovered it while investigating the property). It was yummy!!

My mom came down on Wednesday and Thursday to help. We got cleaning and painting done! She has been an incredible help!! Thank you so much, love you Mom!!

Then we spent Friday afternoon and Saturday at Ft. Leavenworth. We got to visit the Caywoods but also hit some yard sales! It was perfect timing so we could get some furniture fot the house!
Sunday we plan to rest, do laundry, and then pack to head down again on Monday. We hope to get lots done this week too!

Zippy week!

This week was the end of our alphabet! We covered letter "Z"! We began with tracing and a zebra craft.

On Tuesday we practiced with zero and then played with a giant zig-zag.

We walked it, hopped it, we even drove on it with cars!

That afternoon we spent time playing in the garden.

On Wednesday we talked about the zoo and did zoo animal matching and counting.

Then we went on a hunt for animals that may live in the zoo.

After gathering all our zoo friends, we went outside and made a zoo! We had fun pretending to feed and care for them.

On Thursday we went to our friends early. We played outside and even got a mower ride.

Kieryn and Lakyn had a blast together!

That evening I had the kids help make zucchini fries! They got to cut, batter and bread them. Forgot to take pics...

On Friday we skipped out lesson and headed down to Manhattan early morning. We ran a few errands, visited Uncle Jeff at his new job, played at the park, and then....

We closed on our new house! I guess you could say it was one o those zippity-do-dah- days!! We are so happy!!

But now we are in debt!

But we couldn't be more happy!

We spent the weekend cleaning and preparing the house. We plan to move down to Manhattan in a few weeks!

Yes yes Y!

This week we covered letter y! It is hard to believe that we are almost done with the alphabet! We began Monday with some tracing...

Then we did yarn painting.

Because it was the start of a new month, we also too time to learn a new bible verse. We did some cutting and gluing!

That evening we celebrated Grandpa's birthday! We spoiled him with a lunch to the Chineese restaurant and cards and gifts!

The kids thought they needed a turn blowing out candles too! Good thing we didn't use the actual cake for his... Ronan sneezed all over those little cakes before his turn!

On Tuesday we did some tracing...

And then we did some yolk exploration. When we were done playing and poking we cooked it and tried eating it. Kieryn like this, Ronan did not.

On Wednesday we had a yogurt snack while tracing...

Then we practiced counting/math with yellow squares.

We did number matching with yarn...

On Thursday we began with a yummy/yucky game...dried fruit, nuts, crackers...

Most were yummy... A few they didn't like...

After our snack we learned some yoga poses and then took turns being the yoga instructor. Kieryn we really good at this!

We watched a brief video about things you do to keep You healthy.

And finished up with some water color painting with names.

That night Kieryn taught Daddy some Yoga!

On Friday morning we did some visiting! We visited the Great grandparents, grandma at work, and then we stopped and met Blakely, my friend Ashley's new baby. Kieryn was so excited that she got to hold the baby!

After lunch we did our lesson. Ronan was not very excited to do the tracing...

Afterward we did a shape match game...

Then we watched a brief video showing the 2015 yo-yo champ... And we made a giant yo-yo. The kids had fun with these! They were even a hit when we took them outside!

That afternoon we ventured back to the creek and found fun rocks and fossils!

On Saturday we had a relaxing morning. After lunch we went to the St. Benedict's St. Patrick's Day Parade. The kids got so much candy!

We were super excited see and stand by our friends Bronx qnd Lakyn.

We spent Saturday night hanging out with my cousins Ronda and Stacey and their families! It was so great to finally catch up! What a great week!
Until next time...
