Yes yes Y!

This week we covered letter y! It is hard to believe that we are almost done with the alphabet! We began Monday with some tracing...

Then we did yarn painting.

Because it was the start of a new month, we also too time to learn a new bible verse. We did some cutting and gluing!

That evening we celebrated Grandpa's birthday! We spoiled him with a lunch to the Chineese restaurant and cards and gifts!

The kids thought they needed a turn blowing out candles too! Good thing we didn't use the actual cake for his... Ronan sneezed all over those little cakes before his turn!

On Tuesday we did some tracing...

And then we did some yolk exploration. When we were done playing and poking we cooked it and tried eating it. Kieryn like this, Ronan did not.

On Wednesday we had a yogurt snack while tracing...

Then we practiced counting/math with yellow squares.

We did number matching with yarn...

On Thursday we began with a yummy/yucky game...dried fruit, nuts, crackers...

Most were yummy... A few they didn't like...

After our snack we learned some yoga poses and then took turns being the yoga instructor. Kieryn we really good at this!

We watched a brief video about things you do to keep You healthy.

And finished up with some water color painting with names.

That night Kieryn taught Daddy some Yoga!

On Friday morning we did some visiting! We visited the Great grandparents, grandma at work, and then we stopped and met Blakely, my friend Ashley's new baby. Kieryn was so excited that she got to hold the baby!

After lunch we did our lesson. Ronan was not very excited to do the tracing...

Afterward we did a shape match game...

Then we watched a brief video showing the 2015 yo-yo champ... And we made a giant yo-yo. The kids had fun with these! They were even a hit when we took them outside!

That afternoon we ventured back to the creek and found fun rocks and fossils!

On Saturday we had a relaxing morning. After lunch we went to the St. Benedict's St. Patrick's Day Parade. The kids got so much candy!

We were super excited see and stand by our friends Bronx qnd Lakyn.

We spent Saturday night hanging out with my cousins Ronda and Stacey and their families! It was so great to finally catch up! What a great week!
Until next time...
