Lazy relaxing week!

Kieryn didn't have school all week so we had three amazing PJ days to start the Thanksgiving holiday week! We tried to be an unproductive as possible! We did make it out for a short time to visit the Discovery Center... But even then it was hard to get motivated to go. The kids just wanted to be at home... Can't blame them at all!

Steven got to have a "guys night" with my brothers on Tuesday...all those glasses were for tasting and learning about different whiskey. Nothing to crazy!

I woke up early on both Thursday and Friday to teach... I had 32 people at my Turkey Tabata class at 6:30am!

We had a wonderful thanksgiving with the Haug family at our house! My mom spent the night and we did shopping in Manhattan on Friday...found out Ronan has a double ear infection but he was still excited to help with Christmas decorations on Saturday.

A 12 ft pre-lit tree was left in the basement of the house... Looks amazing!!

I even found time to make my holiday wreath!

We are ready for the holidays!

Thankful!

We had a normal week but with growing excitement for the upcoming holiday! Instead of covering a letter we talked about Thanksgiving. On Monday we watched a short video about the 1st Thanksgiving and then Ronan helped me with a pumpkin craft...

When Kieryn got home we got Tom the Turkey out!

On Tuesday we went to see Mr. Steve...

Then at lunch we talked about being thankful and made thankful leaves!

On Wednesday it was a beautiful day so we skipped the planned lesson and went to Anneburg park! We had a blast at the play ground and throwing bread to the fish!

Kieryn surprised us! She was announced at an all school assembly and then earned a special lunch with her principle and a few other kids who were recognized for having good character.

On Thursday Ronan made a name turkey with Janell. Then Friday I watched Micah an Gavin after Ronan and I had lunch with Kieryn. Over the weekend we were all a bit sick with head colds but we still ventured out for pizza and the KSU game at the Caywoods, a bday party for Kieryn's classmate, a wedding reception, and church. We spent the afternoon on Sunday relaxing!!

Looking forward to this week! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Lovely lovely week!

We began our week with a lazy morning! Kieryn wasn't feeling well so she stayed home from school. She partook in the letter L activities! First we did some tracing...

We did L/l matching with lady bugs and a step ladder!

We even found a few lady bugs to investigate!

Later we got out some paint and painted handprint lobsters.

On Tuesday we practiced lacing with lollipops... And did a shape lollipop matching game. The boys had fun singing the lollipop song.

On Wednesday we did Lego and locomotive play!

We practiced Ronan's name using Lego blocks...

We finished up the lesson with a number and shape match locomotive.

We even built a locomotive station and played Legos...

On Thursday Ronan was at Janell's. They did lambs and ladders!

On Friday we did an L search and talked about Loving the Lord.

That afternoon we made fresh lemonade!

We had a busy weekend with kid bday parties and a fire pit... But I managed to get my fall wreath done! Looking forward to a break from the routine over the holidays!

Until next time!

Krazy fun week!

Monday was Halloween so I tried my hand at green eggs and pumpkin pancakes...

We did letter K this week so we did a letter match, name match, and tracing...

It was a breezy day, perfect for kite flying...

Trick or treating!

On Tuesday we started our lesson with a K-treat...

We colored

Then we kicked!

After lunch we investigated a kiwi

On Wednesday we did a color match with keys...

Then we counted jewels and matched numbers on the king's crown...

We even made a kaleidoscope!

We treated Kieryn to lunch at the mall and threw some coins into the fountain!

On Thursday Ronan played at Aunt Janell's they did the lesson using kangaroos! On Friday we had friends over to play for the day. I babysat for my cousin. The kids got along great!

On Saturday I was spoiled with texts, phone calls, and gifts for my birthday! I am truly blessed! Thank you to everyone who made my day so special! This was my amazing gift from the kids and Steven!

On Sunday we spent near all day outside!  We played, did some projects and Justus enjoyed the incredible weather!

Until next time!
