Oooo so good!

We began our letters again on Monday. The week was pretty cold and dreary so I was happy that I had prepared the lesson before leaving PA. We began with tracing and practice with names using the O cereal.

On Tuesday we traced, practiced matching, and then we made an O owl.

On Wednesday we practiced number 8, tracing, and counting with our friend Oliver the octopus. Kieryn even wanted to do a little math.

On Thursday we practiced colors, animal sounds, and "where they live," using the Old McDonald song.

Then we reviewed some opposites before playing in an "opposites obstacle course." There was up/down, on/off, over/under, around/through, fast/slow, and we threw in a little dancing and jumping thanks to the music from my new Bluetooth speaker. Thanks again Dale and Sandy! We use it everyday!

On Friday we found what was different, reviewed "obedience that pleases God," and then we made Olaf puppets.

We also had a wonderful weekend with the Haug family celebrating Christmas! Thanks so much Grandpa and Grandma for all the generous gifts, yummy food, and amazing memories!
Until next week...
