H is for Happy!!

We began this week Happy! We were happy to have had Grandmom Copp visit, happy to have Grandma Haug visit, and most of all, Kieryn was HAPPY that she now had a Queen Elsa dress. It was a surprise from Grandma and Grandpa Haug! She wore it EVERY day!

On Monday morning we talked about helping, and how we can use our hands to help family and friends.

Then we built a house...

practiced writing her name...

and that afternoon we did some real hammering outside!

and of course, some hitting!

When Ronan woke up from his nap, he did some hammering too!

And that night we had Hershey bars for dessert!

After supper we put on old clothes and did our Halloween pumpkins!

On Tuesday we did some hopping songs, followed by hallway hopscotch... sadly I didn't get to hop along with the kids...

and made some Halloween cards!

We spent the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon at ZooAmerica and Cocoa Castle park!

On Wednesday morning we gave Kieryn a Halloween surprise! It was the shoes and crown to match her Elsa dress. She got to wear them that morning to preschool for her Halloween party!

Happy Happy!

I got to stay and enjoy Kieryn's party at school! There were lots of fun activities and lots of sugar!!

Kieryn got to bring home a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch!

That day was cold and rainy, so after naps we enjoyed hot chocolate while wearing hats! We got to practice finding letters to spell "hot" and counting with marshmallows!

Ronan loved the hot chocolate!

Kieryn's hat was short lived... she wanted us to pretend that her new crown was a hat!

Thursday was Palmya's trick-or-treat night, so we did a bunch of Halloween activities that morning!

We did a Halloween hunt... they found a surprise by things that began with the "h" sound.

one was hiding up high!

That afternoon Grandma and the kids played hide & seek!

Trick-Or-Treat!

On Friday morning we practiced biggest to smallest and sorting with hearts, along with H sewing!

And that evening we went to  Hershey Park for Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Thanks again to the Grandmothers for all their help! My recovery is going well. I am slow moving and still unable to lift more than 10 lbs; or try not to :)... less pain each day, and every day feels better and better. Thank you for your prayers and concerns!

  1. Glad you're feeling better, Melissa. My surgery was Oct. 2nd, and I found that after 2 1/2 to 3 weeks, the pain was gone, and I felt normal. I still get tired more easily, but you're younger and more fit than I am, so you'll recover before you know it. Love you all! Aunt Laura
