GGggrrrreat!

We began Monday with letter G - some grapes and a tracing sheet.

That afternoon we read the Cars Go-Go-Go book and they did the same all over the living room track!

On Tuesday we talked about God and did a color matching sheet and read a book. We also sang a few songs and danced to God is so Good, and Our God is an awesome God!

Then we made green glasses and read the g book.

That afternoon we visited the farm again and fed the goats!

On Wednesday, bright and early (5:45am), Steven, the kids and I headed to Hershey Medical Center for my surgery... I was scheduled to have a cyst removed from each ovary. After Kieryn went to school, Ronan hung out with Daddy in his lab... watching Thomas the Train.

My surgery was laproscopic, so I went home the same day. It began at 8:30am and I was heading home by 2:30pm. As it turns out, they had to remove my left ovary but did nothing to the right one. The right cyst had completely disappeared! The hardest part will be the activity limitations they set... no lifting anything heavier than a milk jug until after Nov. 13..aawww! Luckily the Grandmothers were able to come help for awhile. Sadly I'll have to take a month off of teaching my exercise classes... this is going to be soooo hard!

That evening we made some green goo and an obstacle course to keep the kids entertained while I rested!

On Thursday we began the day with dentist appointments for Kieryn and Steven...

And then we made water globes...

a glitter gown for Elsa...

and did gumball drop and color matching...

On Friday we did a letter "g" hunt and Kieryn found 5 things with the g sound. Then we did an alphabet search. Kieryn and Ronan both liked playing in the beans!

Friday was picture day at gymnastics, so Kieryn showed us the pose she did... purple gumball lips and all!

G is for Giving Gifts! On Sunday evening Kieryn gave her friend Amy a surprise gift - two new dress up dresses that she no longer wore! Amy loved them!

Amy was so adorable in her new dresses!

We have been so thankful for friends and family over the past few days. Thank you all for your help with food, taking care of the kids, and taking care of me! I am so blessed to have so many special people in my life, thank you again!

Grandmom Copp, thank you for helping over the weekend! Grandma Haug, we look forward to having you visit all next week!
