Kieryn was very happy to see that her red chair had magically transformed into an amazing Wildcat chair in a matter of about two days... I found this child-size lawn chair on a yard sale for about $0.50. I spent another $1.00 on the primer and white exterior paint that I found at another yard sale. I already had the rest of the materials... so all in all, I feel this was money well spent and a successful craft project! Kieryn really loves it and she knows what we're talking about when we tell her to sit in her "Wildcat chair." She picks out the Wildcat with no problem!
Grandpa & Grandma Haug visited over the weekend. There was no football game so they were able to play and enjoy their visit with Kieryn. Grandpa helped her draw and color some pictures...
While they were babysitting, Steven and I were able to enjoy a special dinner with friends... a celebration of a pregnancy - CARRIE & RYAN ARE HAVING A BABY!! We are super excited for them and wish them all the best! Our fingers are crossed for twins! :)
Kieryn anxiously awaits the upcoming football game against KU... she's got her big-girls shoes on in hopes that the Wildcats will STOMP those Chickenhawks!!
I am always excited when your parents are able to spend special time with Kieryn. I know how much they enjoy every minute of it! We are grateful for Skype and your blog updates. We don't get the "real thing" but we feel we have seen all the stages of her life. When she blows us a kiss on Skype, it makes our evening:)
