Grand Week!

This week was Great! We started "g" week with some green grapes for breakfast followed by some grape activities to get us ready for "g" week.

G/g matching...

coloring...

Then we each counted out 10 grapes and set them on the window ledge. We check them each day to see if they turn to raisins. Should take about 14 days... we'll see if it works... just a fun experiment!

We had a picnic for lunch and found lots of green grass clippings... we decided to make a green grass guy and girl. Kieryns said her girl was sad because her brother broke her toy. So cute!

On Tuesday we started the day with Golden Grahams!

We talked about how special God has made them, and how we can do good for God with the gifts he's given us!

Then we made "grateful guitars". Each guitar had two things written/drawn on it that the kids were grateful for and then we sang about it. The kids loved the guitars!

On Wednesday we made goats using different shapes. I showed the kids a picture of what it should look like and they had to put it together. I didn't help Kieryn at all! She did great!

We did a goat number puzzle...

and practiced putting things in order from tallest to shortest with giraffes and most to least using geese.

That afternoon we went to the creamery with friends and pet/fed the goats.

On Thursday we talked about David and Goliath the giant! We watched a short video, practiced cutting and made a booklet, then practiced our "stone throwing skills" to try to defeat the giant!

After the kids were tired of fighting the giant, we practiced our name by doing glue and glitter! Messy but fun!

That night we did a mini golf in our house!

The kids loved it!

On Friday we talked about growing, gumballs, and grandparents. The kids got a gumball after I worked the kidsmazium. They loved it!

color matching and letter tracing...

Until next time...
