Great to have visitors!

This past week was super busy but so much fun! We got to see lots of wonderful things and spend some much needed time with the most of the Haug family(wish Travis could have been here too!)
After picking the family up from the airport last Sunday, we visited Ft. McHenry and went into Baltimore for a short time. It was so nice to have Steven's family with us at Ft. McHenry!

Then we hit the ground running on Monday. We drove over to Lancaster and took a buggy ride, visited some Amish farms and farmer's markets/shops.

Then went to a train store. It had a huge model train display. The kids LOVED it!

Ronan took over the toy store part!

That night we took the family to Chocolate World!

On Tuesday we spent the day over in Hummelstown. We saw the Indian Echo Caverans!

Afterwards the kids panned for gold! Indian Echo Caravans had a nice place to eat lunch and check out some animals as well. After that we visited a huge toy store and let the kids play for awhile.

On Wednesday we spent the day in the Hershey Gardens. The kids enjoyed the butterfly house the most!

That evening we stopped by the local brewery!

We had a relaxing morning on Thursday with crafts and books.

Then we headed over to Cleona to visit the playground and have lunch.

We even got to feed some ducks!

Friday we spent the day at Hershey Park. It was so fun for the kids to get to share their favorite rides with the grandparents and Uncle Jeff!

Saturday shaped up to be our biggest day! It was wonderful to have Steven with us the whole day! We woke up and hit the road at 6:30am for D.C. We first stopped at Arlington Cemetery and visited Steven's grandfather.

Then watched the changing of the guard at the "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier"

After that it was off to the monuments! We saw them all!

The Washington Monument

The WWII Memorial

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool

The Lincoln Memorial

The White House

We also viewed the Korean War and Vietnam War Memorials. Kieryn was asleep through all of this!

Lastly we stopped by the Iwo Jima.

THEN, on our way back home we stopped at Gettysburg.

We spent Sunday relaxing and playing at home. It was sad to see the Haug family leave early Monday morning, but we were so happy to have them for as long as we did! What an amazing week! We love you all and thank you for all the memories!
