Bright and Beautiful Week!

We started letter "B" week with a review of big "B" and little "b". I really have been surprised at how well Ronan can do these activities. He separated all the bananas without much help!

Then we did some banana smashing and cutting...

and used our bananas to bake banana bread!

While our bread was baking we went on a bike ride around the block! Ronan doesn't pedal much but he enjoys being on his big boy bike! We tried the bikes out a few more times this week.

On Tuesday we began with some block play and practice spelling our names.

Then we did button "B" and practiced balancing buttons while walking around the house.

On Wednesday we began the morning with a color-by-number butterfly.

Ronan's was really just a "color-by-whatever"

That afternoon we had friends over. Our neighbor Kylee was over a lot this week... sadly we had her over to help her parents while they were packing...Kylee is moving on Sept. 1st. So sad!

We did the bounce house and had a baseball field set up. The kids had a blast!

That evening we did number tracing and read some bug books

That night we played a bug game with Kylee to practice colors and taking turns... and as it turns out, it was good practice for honesty and not cheating! :)

On Thursday we played with beans and balloons.

That afternoon/evening we made bracelets, did lots of bubbles outside!

Then we finished the week with letter b tracing, basketball, and bulldozer play. We practiced putting things in order from biggest to smallest and vice versa.

We made a trip to Hershey Park with friends that day as well!

Then on Saturday we had Kylee over for some water play and supper/movie night. The girls had so much fun! Ronan had fun following the girls!

Until next time...
