Wonderful Week!

This week was letter "W"! What a wonderful time we had!!
We began by making watermelons and tracing W.  It even worked out that the library story time did weaving for their craft this week!

Kieryn was especially excited to learn about windmill  - because that's where Toby the train lives! She carried her wooden windmill with her all over the house!

We had a day about water and the kids enjoyed different cups, containers, and bottles in the tub. Things we don't usually use in the tub...

We made a weather window. This was fun for Kieryn because each day she can check the weather and update her window with what it's doing outside.

We played with wigs. This was a huge hit! Ronan even had fun wearing the wigs!

We talked about watches and did some more tracing. Then Kieryn made her own watch and we worked with clock numbers... beginning steps to telling time!  She's already very good at telling us the numbers she sees on the digital clock!

We did a Wildcat hunt through the house! The first time we did it, Kieryn had on her Willie the Wildcat Pjs! We found 40 wildcats on just the main floor!!

We had fun painting w in our wiggly worms...

while Ronan did some sensory play with sweet potato. He wasn't sure about the squishy texture, but he played with it for a long time. The newspaper under his chair was covered... so I know he had fun!

Until next time!

  1. Every time I need a laugh I look at Kieryn's first photo (her smile) and all three of you wearing wigs! Laughing is the best medicine:)
