Incredible Letter I

We had a busy week with Grandmom in town from Maryland! It was so much fun to spend time with her!

On Monday we began letter I with instruments! Music/making noise and dancing is always a favorite activity in our house!

We got Toby a new bed but Alexis claimed it for herself...

Eventually Toby got to try it out... (Alexis was napping!)

On Tuesday we played with ice and practiced tearing paper/ gluing to complete our igloo...

And when the ice got too clod, we got practice using tongs!

That afternoon we watched a few short ice skating videos and practiced big/small with ice skates!

On Wednesday we did an inchworm puzzle and went outside to look for insects.. no hunt pics - forgot my phone ;)

On Thursday the big kids were home from school so we incorporated them into our lesson! They helped with big and little I sorting with ice cream scoops. And we did some shape ironing! Great fine motor activity!

We talked about the hot part of the iron... then Alexis was concerned about the iron being hot even when it was unplugged.

She had fun saying what bead color she was using! She is getting better at pronouncing the words!

Thursday night was Ronan’s last soccer game for the season. It couldn’t have worked out better... the team got ice cream after the game!

Yeah letter I!!

No lesson on Friday! We had a play date/moms workout with friends in the morning at a gymnasium (Grandmom joined the workout and rocked it!) and then we trick-or-treated Aggieville in the afternoon with cousins!

The kids loved the parade!

On Saturday Ronan got to enjoy some hiking with cousins while Kieryn finished up her volleyball season. It was so good to have Grandmom there to watch!

Great job Pink Flamingos!!

Until next time!
