Tremendously Terrific Week

We began T week by talking about our favorite thing... TRAINS! We practiced tracing  T and coloring Toby and Thomas the trains in Tidmuth shed!

Tender color match...

And number order and counting...

Than we made a name tiger.

We had a snack in our tent and watched a Thomas the train show.

While Ronan napped, Kieryn and I played Tic-Tac-Toe.

On Tuesday we started with tracing and triangles!

We made an imagination triangle picture...Kieryn said hers was a castle with a dinosaur.

And then did a T workout! Treadmill, tapping, turning, twirling, and tricycle riding.

That afternoon we did a toothpaste activity to teach "slow to speak"... First I had them squeeze all the paste out as fast as they could. Then they had to try to put it back into the tube. When they got frustrated with this we discussed the importance of "slow to speak" and only speaking when we have kind things to say; because we can't take it back after we have said mean things, etc. We talked about apologizing if we do speak unkind or before we think about how our words could hurt others. This seemed to be a good lesson. They seemed to get it... Only time will tell!

Then we used the paste to practice brushing teeth!

On Wednesday we practiced truck patterns...

Then we played pin the tutu on the ballerina.

We finished up with some sorting... We sorted transportation vehicles.

On Thursday we did counting and math...

We made a "T" tractor...

And did a tennis ball toss.

We even did some Train pretend. Ronan loved being the conductor!

On Friday we worked on time...

We visited the Greats...Kieryn wanted to give her blue scarf that I made to Great Grandma Haug.  Great Grandma was so happy!!

We ended the week with tractor rides!

On Saturday we spent the day with the Caywood cousins! The day was gorgeous! We visited Weston Bend state park and the kids had a blast throwing rocks!

Then on Sunday we ventured to Manhattan to watch our favorite team! Go Wildcats!! Thanks Sheila and Ross for the tickets! The kids had a blast!!

Until next time!
