Fun for Mommy!

We had our community picnic last Sunday evening. The kids had a blast on the train and the bouncy house!

I had my morning boot camp two day, but had to miss Friday because I ventured to Chicago for a fitness conference! Luckily my Mom was able to come to Manhattan for Thursday-Saturday to help Steven out. Thanks Grandma.!! Me and baby girl had a blast!

It was fun to go on the trip with another fitness fanatic and friend!

It was so much fun, but it is always nice to go home and see the kids and Steven!

Fun week with Grandparents!

Monday was grandparents day/lunch at both of the kids' schools. It is sad that we can't have the Copp Grandparents join, but we feel blessed that the Haug Grandparents are close to attend. They got to see Kieryn get on the bus...

Then they enjoyed coffee and donuts at Ronan's school.

Ronan's class sang a song to the grandparents...

Then they had lunch with Kieryn! It was fun for them to see the schools!

We continued our nights of soccer practice... and then Thursday was Kieryn's first game! She did great and had a blast! Uncle Jeff even got to watch!!

On Friday Ronan came with me to Seneca for the city wide yard sales. He had fun and as an added bonus he got to ride in Grandpa's combine!

I think this was his favorite! He loves that combine! Until next time!

Fun with Friends!

The kids had a blast at Tuttle Creek on Monday! We went with some neighbor friends for boating, swimming, and the favorite- tubing!

Steven even got to ski a bit before it got too windy and choppy!

We also started soccer this week! Kieryn had three nights of practice and Ronan just one. They both love it so far!!

On Friday we attended Kieryn's back to school picnic!

Afterwards we went to Ronan's soccer clinic!

We relaxed on Saturday and Sunday, thankful for a Wildcat victory!! Go State!!

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!

Time to announce that our newest little Wildcat will be a GIRL! We are so excited and the kids are over the moon!

My phone was MIA/BROKEN/NOT-functioning from Monday until about Wednesday so the first round of pictures I took this week were from Purple Power Play in the Park on Thursday night. The kids had a blast!

Kieryn's favorite was the band playing and dancing!

The kids had fun catching bugs on Saturday and doing crafts!

That afternoon and evening we took the kids to the KSU football game. They loved it!

Until next time!

First Full Week of School!

Fun week! We traveled to Seneca for the total eclipse! It was so amazing! The kids had fun roasting marshmallows at totality!

The rest of the week was just adjusting to our new "school schedule". On Saturday I made and froze salsa, applesauce, and fresh garden vegetables!

That evening we enjoyed some fishing at Pott. #2! The kids love this, so we'll be doing more of that I'm sure!

Have a great week!

School week!

School is back in session!! We still had two days of "summer" this week... We met friends at the Wamego park on Monday.

On Tuesday we had a "home play day" and went swimming. That night we had two Back-to-School events to attend.

Wednesday was the first day of school! Ronan has school from 8-11:20 and Kieryn had a half day. For those few hours without kids I cleaned and got groceries... Typical mom stuff! When school let out at 11:55, Ronan and I picked up Kieryn and joined the Caywoods at the park for lunch.

Kieryn and I were on the front page...

On Thursday while Kieryn was at her first whole day of school, Ronan and I enjoyed the cool morning with a workout!

After school we painted some rocks... Fun craft for them

I worked on Friday while the kids were at school... Then on Saturday we ventured to Seneca so Steven could help my Dad shingle the garage. While the men worked, Mom and I  had time to craft... The kids were playing nicely so we took advantage! Ready or not, here comes Fall!

Until next time!
