Busy Busy!

Kieryn just got a new step stool so she can help Mommy in the kitchen! She loved being able to stir the Sunday pancakes all by herself.

She really likes helping as she helped Mommy take her 19 week belly pictures...

On Friday night we went to open gym and the local gymnastics place. She loved it and Daddy had fun watching her jump on the trampolines! It was a great place for her to burn some energy and work on taking turns!

Last week we did some painting.

She really enjoyed it and liked using her fingers too.

Helpful Kieryn likes to make sure my clients are getting a good stretch after their workout. Here she's demonstrating how to do the stretch... luckily my clients find it hilarious that she wants to workout with them!

Resting with Daddy and listening to some music after a long day...

Dress-up Time!

Kieryn loves pretend play!

Kieryn has a lot of fun wearing her funky hats around the house. On this day, she brought one for me to wear too.

She also has fun playing with her dishes and kitchen. She likes to set the table and pretend to have a big kid meal.

She likes her pretend purses too...

And talking on the phone...

On Saturday she helped Jaden celebrate his 2nd birthday. She had so much fun playing with both Jaden and Tava.

I think her favorite part of the party was the giant Mickey Mouse! She gave him lots of hugs and kisses.

The three kids were glued to the TV when we turned on an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...

It was great to see them all. The kids played so well together!

Fun Weekend!

Kieryn had a fun weekend as we traveled to Seneca to visit the Grandparents and friends. She got to meet the new addition to the Williams family, baby Rowan, as well as play baby with Rowan's big sister Wrigly. It was so nice to see and catch up with Carissa and Kelly. They have a beautiful new home and growing family!

Later that day, Kieryn go to play at the Talley's new house. They've built a wonderful home! Kieryn especially loved all the space to run and jump! She, Bronx, and Lakyn had a lot of fun together. It made for a busy day, but it was a worth while trip to see and catch up with Ross and Sheila too.

Kieryn's favorite thing to do right now is HANG. She tries to hang on everything. This is her favorite though. We really think gymnastics are in her future!

Baby Copp #2 is 17 weeks and growing. I've got quite the baby bump and I feel BIG already. It's the truth... you show WAY faster with baby #2! We have a doctor's apt this Wednesday to hear the heartbeat again. We look forward to every appointment!

To prove my point... here's week 17 with Kieryn. I'm barely showing compared to now!

Until next time...

Snow Days

Last week it was cold and snowy... so we had fun both indoors and out!
Kieryn loved her snow day with Daddy. He pulled her up and down the block in her sled.

We had fun with (mess free) paints this week. Kieryn liked mixing the colors and I liked it because there was little to no clean up!

BUT, her favorite indoor activity at the moment is playing in her new kitchen. It was her Christmas present from Grandmom & Grandpop Copp. You'll notice she's wearing her KSU pjs... most mornings I can't get her to change out of them. She gets mad at me for taking off her Wildcats. So I let her wear them until we need to change to go somewhere...THAT'S OUR GIRL - GO STATE!

Until next time!

Merry Merry Christmas!

Again, sorry for a delayed update. Kieryn and I just got back Friday from Seneca (we were visiting for an entire week) and there was lots to unpack!
We celebrated our Copp family Christmas the Friday morning before Christmas. We opened a 1-2 gifts from Steven's family the night before to warm Kieryn up to the idea of opening gifts. She didn't quite understand it yet, but after about 20 minutes we got two open. Then, Steven read Kieryn the Christmas story and we put out cookies for Santa. Kieryn and I had fun making them earlier that day.

Kieryn wanted to have them as a bed time snack instead of leaving them for Santa...

Kieryn must have been a really good girl this past year... there were LOTS of goodies under the tree when she woke the next morning.

She spotted them right away and was so excited!

We made the mistake of putting the tricycle out (unwrapped). Kieryn loved it! But then she had NO interest in opening any other gifts.

It took us about 1 hour and 20 minutes to open all our gifts because after each one, she'd hop back on the tricycle for a quick ride. We were happy that she liked it!

She got lots of fun toys and dress up clothes!

She especially loved all the Mickey and Minnie gifts she received from Steven's family! She snuggled right up to the blanket from Uncle Kevin and her cousin Tianna! Now she uses the blanket to wrap her babies in.

Judging by the mess, I'd say this was a fun 'Christmas morning'!

We went home on Friday afternoon and saved our Christmas surprise for Friday night. We told my family that Kieryn was going to wear her favorite Christmas skirt to the party so we needed to take some pictures before we left. When Kieryn came down, she was so proud of her outfit, and everyone was SUPER surprised! We took lots of pictures and Kieryn was given lots of hugs and kisses! She's going to make a GREAT big sister! We'd told Steven's family on that Wednesday evening after we'd heard the heart beat. Everyone was so happy for us!

On Saturday, we celebrated the Bergman Christmas. Kieryn had so much fun because there were LOTS of little kids for her to run around with.

She even got to sit on Santa's lap! We were proud of her for not being afraid, and were surprised when she put up her hand to give him a high-five!

That night, Kieryn and Grandpa enjoyed a nightcap beverage together... Kieryn's was milk of course, but she had fun saying "cheers" with Grandpa over and over!

On Sunday we had celebrated the Haug Christmas, and again, she had lots of fun with the other kids her age.

Kieryn found something to do her gymnastics on... I think a gymnastics class is in her future!

She had rest time on Uncle Jeff's lap.

On Monday, Kieryn had fun playing with the baby puppy and helping Grandma prepare the Christmas feast...

We took pictures after Christmas Eve mass...

Kieryn had lots of energy after sitting still for so long!

But she paused for a brief moment to kiss Mommy's baby!

We opened a few gifts before heading to bed.

The next morning, Kieryn was already breaking into the cookies...

She got so many fun things from Grandma and Grandpa and boy was she excited! She was much faster at opening gifts at this point. She'd finally caught on that if she opened it, there'd be something really fun inside!

When we got home, the first thing she did was hop on her tricycle. I think we chose a good gift for her this year.... she even got her sunglasses out to wear when riding it! What a 'cool' big sister!

I am currently 15 weeks pregnant, but this is the picture we took before heading home to Seneca.
SURPRISE! We are so excited to welcome baby Copp #2 to our family around June 22nd, 2013!
