Merry Merry Christmas!

Again, sorry for a delayed update. Kieryn and I just got back Friday from Seneca (we were visiting for an entire week) and there was lots to unpack!
We celebrated our Copp family Christmas the Friday morning before Christmas. We opened a 1-2 gifts from Steven's family the night before to warm Kieryn up to the idea of opening gifts. She didn't quite understand it yet, but after about 20 minutes we got two open. Then, Steven read Kieryn the Christmas story and we put out cookies for Santa. Kieryn and I had fun making them earlier that day.

Kieryn wanted to have them as a bed time snack instead of leaving them for Santa...

Kieryn must have been a really good girl this past year... there were LOTS of goodies under the tree when she woke the next morning.

She spotted them right away and was so excited!

We made the mistake of putting the tricycle out (unwrapped). Kieryn loved it! But then she had NO interest in opening any other gifts.

It took us about 1 hour and 20 minutes to open all our gifts because after each one, she'd hop back on the tricycle for a quick ride. We were happy that she liked it!

She got lots of fun toys and dress up clothes!

She especially loved all the Mickey and Minnie gifts she received from Steven's family! She snuggled right up to the blanket from Uncle Kevin and her cousin Tianna! Now she uses the blanket to wrap her babies in.

Judging by the mess, I'd say this was a fun 'Christmas morning'!

We went home on Friday afternoon and saved our Christmas surprise for Friday night. We told my family that Kieryn was going to wear her favorite Christmas skirt to the party so we needed to take some pictures before we left. When Kieryn came down, she was so proud of her outfit, and everyone was SUPER surprised! We took lots of pictures and Kieryn was given lots of hugs and kisses! She's going to make a GREAT big sister! We'd told Steven's family on that Wednesday evening after we'd heard the heart beat. Everyone was so happy for us!

On Saturday, we celebrated the Bergman Christmas. Kieryn had so much fun because there were LOTS of little kids for her to run around with.

She even got to sit on Santa's lap! We were proud of her for not being afraid, and were surprised when she put up her hand to give him a high-five!

That night, Kieryn and Grandpa enjoyed a nightcap beverage together... Kieryn's was milk of course, but she had fun saying "cheers" with Grandpa over and over!

On Sunday we had celebrated the Haug Christmas, and again, she had lots of fun with the other kids her age.

Kieryn found something to do her gymnastics on... I think a gymnastics class is in her future!

She had rest time on Uncle Jeff's lap.

On Monday, Kieryn had fun playing with the baby puppy and helping Grandma prepare the Christmas feast...

We took pictures after Christmas Eve mass...

Kieryn had lots of energy after sitting still for so long!

But she paused for a brief moment to kiss Mommy's baby!

We opened a few gifts before heading to bed.

The next morning, Kieryn was already breaking into the cookies...

She got so many fun things from Grandma and Grandpa and boy was she excited! She was much faster at opening gifts at this point. She'd finally caught on that if she opened it, there'd be something really fun inside!

When we got home, the first thing she did was hop on her tricycle. I think we chose a good gift for her this year.... she even got her sunglasses out to wear when riding it! What a 'cool' big sister!

I am currently 15 weeks pregnant, but this is the picture we took before heading home to Seneca.
SURPRISE! We are so excited to welcome baby Copp #2 to our family around June 22nd, 2013!

We always appreciate you taking the time to post for us. It gives us a joy to see how much your family enjoys Kieryn. We know their trip to PA will be many over the next several years. We are thrilled that Kieryn and baby will have memories with us(although skype has been great). Grandpop and Grandmom.
