It has been sooo busy!!

We were very busy last week... For starters Kieryn is taking her "big sister" responsibilities very seriously... she's been testing the bouncy seat and swing for durability!

Kieryn and Grandpa enjoying a morning on the porch...

The past few days that I have had both kids on my own we have done some baking... it's more play than anything but it keeps Kieryn content! She really liked doing pudding and playing in the sugar...

She was very excited to try one of her cookies... waiting for them to bake was torcher for her!

Big Sister Love!

Our little bright eyes...

Last Saturday we visited Wamego City park to visit some friends and take the kids on the train. Kieryn was so excited!! She loved LOVED the train!!

Then, last Sunday we baptized Ronan at St. Mary's church. Ronan slept through the entire mass and the baptism!

That evening was the St. Benedict Picnic. The big bouncy slide was Kieryn's favorite!! She wasn't scared to go up at all... but Mommy did have to help a little.

The fish pond games were fun too!

Looking forward to a slower week!

A day at Grandma and Grandpa's farm with Kieryn...

We tend to begin each morning playing with the train set. She can spend 20-30 minutes just playing, but eventually she'll ask someone to play with her by saying "Papa (grandpa) sit, or "Ama (grandma) sit".

When we head outside, one of the first things she says is either Lu (the dog), At (for cat), or sing (for swing). On this particular occasion she was happy with two of the three! If she's not on this swing then she's in the tire swing saying "yee-ha".

At some point on most days, she helps with garden work - picking strawberries, watering Grandma's flowers, or, like on this day, she got to plant a blackberry bush.

Then we spend about 10-15 minutes driving something... the lawn mowers, Grandpa's tractors/trucks, the Kia, or Grandma's car. For some reason she REALLY likes driving and is starting to ask for it every time we go somewhere.

Finally, towards the end of the day she helps Grandpa gather the eggs.

After a month and a half of this lifestyle, her daily routine is going to seem boring after we move! Hopefully we can keep her this busy in Pennsylvania too!
We love you busy body!!

Farm Fun

Daddy was gone at a conference this past week in Indianapolis, so Kieryn and Mommy had lots of fun on the farm. It was our first full week living in Seneca and despite the rainy weather, we managed to have a blast!

One of Kieryn's new favorite things is to "drive". She likes driving the tractors, lawn mowers, the Kia, and grandma's car!

Kieryn even got to pick some fresh strawberries... she doesn't normally eat strawberries, but they must taste better when she picks them herself because she's eaten lots of them!

On one of the rainy days we ventured to the Seneca library. Luckily it was one of the days that they had story time! There was a speaker from Milford Wildlife Center and she brought lots of fun things for the kids to look at. Kieryn's favorite was the prairie dog.

When Daddy got home on Sunday, we spent some time putting together our new double stroller + car seat. It is our first big gift for baby #2 from Grandma & Grandpa Haug. Kieryn LOVES the new stroller! She's given it her stamp of approval after trying out the eating tray and riding in both seat positions. Thank you Grandma & Grandpa!

We are now 37 weeks pregnant and are set to have the baby on June 15th if he doesn't come sooner! We are getting very excited to meet baby #2!
