We began letter H week with hide and seek, and lots of happy vibes! We danced and sang all the “H” nursery rhymes while wearing different hats/helmets of course! (Humpty Dumpty, Hickory Dickory, Hokey Pokey, If you’re happy…)
We played hungry turtles and did some hammering!
On Tuesday we talked about the human body and all the parts that start with H (hands, hair, heel, hair, heart, hips, etc) then we sorted colored hearts and counted them!
Finished up with a heart hunt!
On Wednesday we talked about helping others and horses! We wanted to visit the horses at the vet but the weather was cold and rainy so we play pretend with horses instead!
In the evening we attended Kieryn’s choir performance! It was so fun to watch! They did great!
On Thursday we did some H/h matching and tracing.
And counted marshmallows in hot chocolate!
On Thursday evening we attended the KSU volleyball game with Kieryn club team! It was a great time!
On Friday we went to the Flint Hills Discovery Center and had a great time! We pretended to ride horses and played lots of games!
On Friday evening we went Trick or Treating in Aggieville and watched the Homecoming Parade!
We had a lazy Saturday but managed to carve pumpkins! Then on Sunday we braved the cloudy and windy 40 degree weather to cheer on Ronan’s team in their final game of the season! They were excited to end with a victory!
Great Season Manhattan Indians!! Thanks Coach Dad for all your hard work and encouragement!!
