Really Rad Week!

Alexis really had fun learning about letter R this week. Kieryn and Ronan completed week 24 of our homeschool curriculum. They will celebrate day 100 of school next week during our week 25 activities!

On Monday we began our letter R learning with rocks and practicing the "rrrr" sound!

...did a rocket puzzle...

and made a "rain drop and rain cloud" letter R.

Cold weather calls for lots of snuggles!

On Tuesday we had fun with R tracing and making a rabbit...

Our "move it" time was running... can you guess who "ran right into" her older brother... :)

We did rainbow number matching and then practiced rainbow color order.

On Wednesday we practiced "r" and found things that started with R.

We made a fun raccoon...

... played our rooster race game (number practice)...

Tyson thinks it's funny that he's ready to crawl and Mommy isn't ready for that...

For our "move it" time we did a running race with a rad ribbon wand!

On Thursday we made a red rectangle robot and then tried to find things in the house that were either red or rectangular...

Took a break to play with Tyson... he's scooting backwards so quickly...

Then we did a science experiment called "walking rainbow" and all kids enjoyed it!

Finished up the day making robots!

We had a great Valentine's Day! The kids were ready to exchange cards and surprises at 7 am! In an attempt to spread out the day's fun we saved our annual scavenger hunt for after lunch.

It was a great weekend! Great way to enjoy a COLD afternoon!
Hope your Valentine's was just as fun!!
