July is here! Everyone cheer!!

We had fun with neighborhood friends this week! Lots and lots of imagination!

We still had time to visit the pool each day! The kids continue to do great in their swimming lessons this year! Kieryn can now swim front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and elementary back stroke across our pool lengthwise... she continues to work on butterfly! Ronan is able to swim front crawl and back stroke across the width of our pool. We continue to work on treading and diving for things in the deep. I am super impressed with all that they can do! Alexis has no fear of the water. With her puddle jumper on she will swim from one end of the pool to the other happily kicking her feet. She jumps in and can blow bubbles!

The kids are really enjoying golf with First Tee and Daddy. While they played the Par 3 course on Tuesday, Alexis and I had fun doing her super hero virtual lesson...

On Wednesday the big kids enjoyed their 4-H virtual STEM lesson on rocketry. They made air rockets and a lunar lander. They had a challenge of creating a lunar lander that could be dropped from shoulder height without spilling out their marshmallow astronauts... Ronan had such good luck that he wanted to increase the height. One of his drops was even from our second story... and it worked!

Ronan had fun learning about all the golf balls in Daddy's case on Thursday...

We did some fireworks on Thursday with some friends...

On Saturday we did our virtual VBS lesson on the Rocky Railway... the kids loved it!

We were inspired after the VBS lesson to create our own train cars to watch future VBS lessons... we'll do them the next 5 Fridays... or Saturdays as it works in our schedule.

Everyone had a hat, whistle, train car phone, and steering wheel...

On Saturday we enjoyed a lazy day, complete with afternoon swimming, snow cones, and the remainder of our fireworks.

This was where Alexis watched the show and had her snack... she didn't like the noise, but she really liked the bright colors!

Hope you had a wonderful start to your July!
