Lovely Letter L

We started our week with snow on Monday, but we still made the trip to the Library...

Alexis and I attended story time, which ended just in time for us to watch the Veteran's Day Parade! So we got to watch it while inside the warm building instead of in the cold!

Kieyn's teacher sent us a picture from the bus... Her class was supposed to walk in the parade but due to the cold temperatures they rode the bus instead!

We began letter L with little lambs....

Alexis helped me make a lamb mask and we sang Mary had a Little Lamb. Alexis loved it.

We also practiced some line tracing...

On Tuesday we used ladybugs to learn letter L...

Alexis loved doing the dots on her lady bug painting!

We were even lucky enough to find a lady bug to look at...

On Wednesday we talked about lions and did a lock/latch puzzle...

We collected some leaves to make a lion! It was a fun craft!

We used this puzzle for H week to for "house". This time I focused on saying "let's lock/latch it... let's unlock/unlatch it to see what's inside". When we did this for H week I asked things like... "let's see what's inside the yellow house."q

On Thursday we had sensory play with lentils and pretend with legos...

After lunch we practiced L/l matching using a big and Little step ladder!

Then we headed outside to play in the leaves!

On Friday we tasted lemon juice...

And then had fun practicing colors and shapes with pretend lollipops...We even had a lollipop treat!

lollipop lacing...

We had so much fun outside this weekend! The weather was in the 60s! Crazy that it snowed on Monday!

Until next time!
