It's A HOT one!

IT WAS A HOT WEEK! Everyday this week was over 100 degrees! We were at our community pool nearly all mornings from 9 to noon! On Monday evening, poor Kieryn had to play tee-ball in that heat.. but we went prepared with lots of water, wet towels, sunscreen, and ice chips!

On Tuesday afternoon the kids voted to visit the splash park after swimming from 9:30-11am! We took a good nap that afternoon...

That evening we took the kids to the KSU student union for dinner and bowling to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary! They had so much fun!

On Wednesday I worked, but the kids still got their pool time in with Daddy!

Then on Thursday, after our morning at the pool we spent time working on shell crafts. We used some of the shells we found at the beach while on vacation.

Again on Friday we spent the morning at the pool and that evening at home playing because the kids were so tired... but after Saturday morning swimming they were full of energy and wanted to go to the Discovery Center. What a fun week!
