Very vibrant letter V!

On Monday of letter V week, Kieryn wanted to participate... so we watched a short video on volcanoes and then made our own using play dough. The kids loved watching it erupt (baking soda and vinegar with food coloring).

Ronan practiced the V sound and did a v letter search.

On Tuesday Micah and Ronan were VERY silly! They wanted to sing silly ABC's, and make very funny faces...

We then matched V/v using a vulture named Vinnie who like only "big V" violets and another vulture named Vera who only liked "small v" violets. The boys like this. Then we counted and compared how many each vulture had in their vat!

Later that day we had a picnic at the park and had fun playing volleyball.

On Wednesday Ronan was at Janell's. They did name practice and cutting/tracing practice.

They even played outside with Ronan's favorite... Bubbles!

On Thursday we talked about vegetables. We did a number match and number tracing...

Then we did counting, simple addition, a few letters, and shapes with carrots! Ronan couldn't get enough of this!!

On Friday the kids played pretend. They got out all their animals and pretended to be veterinarians!

Then Kieryn wanted to play teacher and made a letter V search game for Ronan.

What a fun week with letter V!
Until next time...

Ronan sure enjoys his home schooling. He will be ready for pre-K and/or Kindergarten.
