Lovin' this time together!!

Sunday was a great start into letter L week as we played in the leaves at the grandparents' house! Sadly that was the only day we got to be out in the leaves for "L" week as the rest of the week was either rainy or really cold wind!

On Monday we started with some loopy ladybug tracing and letter L/l matching.

Then we had fun with some long licorice laces!

I tried my hand at some crockpot "pink" applesauce this week (beets + apples) it was very tasty! We even used it to make pink pankcakes! Steven wasn't the biggest fan, but the kids didn't mind it.

On Tuesday we did some L tracing and made our little lambs.

On Wednesday we did a letter L search and talked about loving the Lord. It just so happened that the "L" search had 11 letter Ls so we traced number 11 too! Good practice!

We also did a lollipop shape/color match. The kids are getting very good at their shapes!

We finished the lesson with lollipop lacing!

On Thursday we played with legos! We built a name tower and then did patterns.

That afternoon/evening, Ronan discovered a new way to carry Scruffy around. He wore this carrier whenever he could throughout the day and into the weekend! He just loves that dog!

On Friday we made a number locomotive. The kids did a great job gluing in numerical order!

That afternoon we went to Chocolate World with some friends. They had their Christmas decorations up. The ornaments were made of chocolate! It was awesome!

We had a relaxing weekend at home. We got some good quality family time!

Until next time!
