Many Marvelous Memories!

On Sunday evening we spent time decorating for Christmas. It was an excellent way for us to also pack up the remaining decorations on the main level without too many tears from Kieryn. She is having some moments of sadness to see all her things being boxed up... so we're trying to do it when she's distracted with other things.

On Monday we began letter M week. We watched a video about monkeys, did monkeys jumping on the bed and tracing.

That afternoon we made muffins!

On Tuesday we practiced tracing, watched Mickey and Minnie Mouse and played with macaroni. That night we had mac and cheese for supper!

On Wednesday we made and painted our salt dough ornaments. The kids loved it. That afternoon we talked about Moses and made a burning bush to recall our story.

That evening we made our annual gingerbread house. This is sometimes harder than it should be because our kids don't really want to put the candy on the house...

On Thursday we sang three blind mice, traced a 3, and practiced shapes with a motorcycle.

Then we made Christmas cookies and candy!

That evening we played a mouth game. We had to roll a dice, count the dots, and pull that many teeth from the mouth. Kids like it a lot!

On Friday we talked about money. We played, poured, and practiced some patterns.

Over the weekend we did a color sorting game with M & Ms

Hope you had a great week too!

Moving Update: We plan to have our house 90% packed by Dec. 18th. We will be in Virginia over that weekend (18/19) with the Hamlin Family Christmas (SO EXCITED TO SEE THEM!) Then we will return on 20th and have until 23rd to finish everything. We'll spend the 24-26th in Gaithersburg, MD with Steven's family for Christmas. We plan to load the trailer and begin our 2 day drive to Kansas on Dec. 27th. SO, 21 days and counting! WOW, time goes so fast!!

Holiday Week!

We took this week off from the alphabet and instead relaxed, played, and packed for Thanksgiving in Maryland.

These two have begun helping themselves to the peanut butter and Nutella!

We had three beautiful days in Maryland! The kids were outside a lot. We even visited the nature center! The kids really liked this!

Thank you Copp family for such a blessed holiday! We are so thankful to have you in our lives! We love you all so much!

We made a "Tom the Turkey" to greet us when we get home.

This week Kieryn was "Star of the Week." She got to talk about her family and bring her favorite book to read with her classmates.

Ronan's dog Scruffy is becoming quite the attachment. He now has a blanket he needs to be wrapped in when he gets cold. Ronan calls him his baby. What a little sweet heart!

On Saturday we made our very last visit to Hershey Park to see the Christmas lights and ride rides. It was so much fun to share the time with our good friends the McFeaters. We are really going to miss them!

Happy early Thanksgiving from the Copp Family!
