Farm Fun

Daddy was gone at a conference this past week in Indianapolis, so Kieryn and Mommy had lots of fun on the farm. It was our first full week living in Seneca and despite the rainy weather, we managed to have a blast!

 

 

One of Kieryn's new favorite things is to "drive". She likes driving the tractors, lawn mowers, the Kia, and grandma's car!

 

 



 

Kieryn even got to pick some fresh strawberries... she doesn't normally eat strawberries, but they must taste better when she picks them herself because she's eaten lots of them!





 

 On one of the rainy days we ventured to the Seneca library. Luckily it was one of the days that they had story time! There was a speaker from Milford Wildlife Center and she brought lots of fun things for the kids to look at. Kieryn's favorite was the prairie dog.

 

 

When Daddy got home on Sunday, we spent some time putting together our new double stroller + car seat. It is our first big gift for baby #2 from Grandma & Grandpa Haug. Kieryn LOVES the new stroller! She's given it her stamp of approval after trying out the eating tray and riding in both seat positions. Thank you Grandma & Grandpa!

 



 

We are now 37 weeks pregnant and are set to have the baby on June 15th if he doesn't come sooner! We are getting very excited to meet baby #2!

 

 

 

We survived the first move!

Before leaving Manhattan we had to make one last visit to Varsity Donuts, our Sunday morning favorite! Kieryn always gives Willie a high-five on our way in. She is going to miss seeing him!

 

 

We also made time for puddle jumping one last time at the Hillcrest home before all the packing and moving. She was getting some seriously high jumps and big splashes!

 



 

 

 

Kieryn got in on some of the packing. The packaging noodles were her favorite, but we also let her help put on tape and marker on the boxes. She was excited to be going to "Papa's" house. We reminder her daily of this in hopes that the transition would be easier.

 

We moved last weekend and Kieryn has adjusted very well to the new living arrangements. She likes to help with the dishes, play with her "choo choo" train, swing in the tire swing, and jump on her new bed.

Graduation Weekend!

It was a busy but WONDERFUL weekend! Uncle Jeff was in town from Georgia for graduation weekend. He and Kieryn had lots of fun together!

On Friday afternoon Steven graduated with his doctoral degree.

Luckily, Kieryn slept through most of the ceremony...

Then, on Saturday we celebrated Uncle Travis's graduation.

Then we opened some gifts...Kieryn was very helpful.

 

We will be busy this upcoming week preparing for our first move. We are heading back to Seneca to live with Grandma and Grandpa Haug until Baby #2 arrives. I'm doing a little longer post this week because there probably won't be one next weekend... we'll be packing, cleaning, and moving all weekend. SO, here are some of our maternity pictures to tie you over!
