Fun week of Learning!

Alexis learned about letter U this week! We had fun with unicorns on Monday...

Ronan enjoyed his new golf mat in the back yard! Him and Daddy both love it!



We had Toga Tuesday while learning about the Roman civilization for history!







For art we did “spring themed” oil pastel pictures...






Just playing in their togas!





Alexis practiced her shapes...



...and played a pop up game with me. 





On Wednesday we learned about umpires and practiced numbers and counting.









On Thursday we discussed things that go “up” and animals that live “underwater”.







Then we got dirty playing outside! Great sunny day!!





While reading more about the Romans, the kids fashioned chariots out of clay and made mosaic Easter eggs!







Over the weekend we “baby proofed” the reading room into a baby friendly play room! Tyson is on the go and we needed a safe space for him! It turned out great!!

Totally Terrific Week!

We had a fun week of school and great outdoor time this week! Alexis learned about letter T and Kieryn and Ronan finished week 27. It's hard to believe that we're already into March, but here we are!

We began our lesson on Monday with tractors and some pretend play...

we traced...



practiced counting and number recognition...



and you better believe we had fun on our trampoline!!



Tyson even got to enjoy some outside time! There were a few days that weren't too windy, so we got him out as much as we could.



There were a few REALLY great nights for outside picnics and fire pits too!





The kids loved roasting marshmallows.

We had good snuggle time on Tuesday morning before starting school...

Alexis practiced her name and made a letter T tiger.



Tyson practiced rocking back and forth on his knees... he is getting scary close to crawling!



Then we played Daniel Tiger with reusable stickers....





On Wednesday we had fun with trains. Ronan helped Alexis build a fun train track and we spent time doing our Thomas the train puzzles!





We practiced big and small order



Tyson enjoyed his new seat! We had to upgrade to an activity center because he wasn't fitting very well in the bouncy seat.  He's growing so fast... he loved this!



We had a picnic lunch at the neighborhood park...



This guy loved his first "ride" in a baby swing. Thanks big sis Kieryn for the pushes!



On Thursday we played with trucks...



practiced some patterns...



traced...



had an entertaining truck wash...





and finished up by making a fun tambourine!





We had a fun picnic lunch at the Wamego park too!



Alexis loved walking on the train tracks. It will soon be open for rides, yeah!







We finished the day with a "T" things hunt....



Friday was a great day for fun in the sun! Alexis learned to drive our tractor which seemed fitting for the week.



And Kieryn and Ronan are working to improve their roller blading skills!



Alexis finished the week by planning a fun tea party...





And Tyson joined in the letter T festivities by getting his first tooth! 



Wow! What a fun week!



Rock candy experiment was a success! We got to enjoy them on Saturday!
