Great Letter B week!

We started B week with baking banana bread! Kieryn and Ronan were off school for Labor Day so they helped in the activities!

Fed banana to B bears...

Then we went on a bear hunt, danced with them and practiced “big, medium, small.”

Later we had a teddy graham bear snack

Tuesday we talked about bunnies, blueberries, balloons and played in beans.

On Wednesday we talked about birds! It was fun to use binoculars when we went on a bird hunt!

She did good with the  color match!

Later we threw balls in a bucket and collected B items in our bucket!

On Thursday we visited the bus depot!

We checked out some new books...

And danced in boots!

On Friday we practiced colors with bugs, and sizes with bulldozers... then we buried bug in beans using bulldozers!!

Jr. Wilcat Day! Go Kats!!

So much fun! Kieryn finally kicked her fever on Friday night. I hope no one else gets sick!!

First week of alphabet for Alexis!

We began our alphabet adventure with a letter hunt! I had “A” items hidden in the rice!

Afterwards we danced to the alphabet song!

Had a yummy snack...

And then headed to story time at the Library.

On Tuesday we talked about airplanes and took a field trip!

We got to watch them take off, fly, and land! Then we made our own and tried to fly it!

When we got home we did a matching game...

On Wednesday we picked a few apples from our tree and practiced washing, tasting and investigating.

We even used them to paint...

We tried a color match, the back of the “a” cards had a colored apple.

Then we read a book and tried to put apples on our body to practice body parts.

On Thursday we visited the Wamego train park. It was perfect because there are lots of acorns...

When we got home we investigated and played with them. Then practiced matching shapes that together made an acorn!

On Friday we went to the zoo to see the animals!

When we got home we did farm animal matching...and read a book!

On Friday night we went to the KSU pep rally at the park to kick off the start of wildcat football!

Then on Saturday morning we traveled to Seneca to celebrate Grandma’s birthday! It worked out great for “A” week because we got to see more animals and pick yummy apples!!

Until next week!
