Incredible week!

It was a fun week with letter I! We began with some I/i matching...

Then we practiced tearing and gluing to make an igloo!

That nite we had ice cream for dessert!

On Tuesday we practiced biggest and smallest with ice skates...

And made a shape iguana while practicing Ronan and Micah's name...

It was a beautiful day so we went out and played with ice! First we investigated it and practiced using descriptive words...

Then tried to make them in buckets and hit various items...

Then we tried to see how far we could throw! The boys loved it!

On Wednesday we practiced shapes...

Then we played with insects and did a color match...

Then we investigated the real thing!

Daddy turned 35 on Wednesday so we surprised him at work for a birthday lunch since I worked in the morning and that evening. Kieryn like sneaking out of school for the surprise!

On Thursday Ronan did a letter and color review at Aunt Janell's...

They made inch worms...

And rode the Train in Wamego! Such a fun day!!

Then on Friday we had friends over for the day! The kids had a blast!

We made Indian hat and did some dancing!

That night we got to attend Kieryn's first school dance... The Fall Harvest Dance! The kids got to dress up and they loved it!

On Saturday we played with cousins during the game and then Kieryn went to a bday party for a classmate.

On Sunday we spent the day in Seneca! We celebrated Steven's bday with some yummy butterfinger dessert! 

Then we spent the afternoon at a pumpkin farm! It was so much fun!! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for such a wonderful day!!

Hectic but Happy Happy Days!

It was "hero" week at Kieryn's school which was a perfect start to letter H week! She really liked pretending in her outfit!

I had Micah on Monday so we did H/h matching with hippos and hay bales.

Then we sorted some hearts by color and counted them.

We played hungry hippos...

Did hop scotch...

And played a Halloween memory game...

We did more hopping when Kieryn got home...

And began the next morning with a hopping obstacle course... I set up nothing it was all the kids! Ronan woke up asking to do a workout with Kieryn! 

On Tuesday Ronan had preschool at Aunt Janell's. They investigated some helmets...

Made a house while practicing their name...

And had heart sandwiches with hash browns.

On Wednesday we did a helicopter and horse activities that practiced number match, order, tracing, cutting and gluing.

On Thursday Ronan and I had the whole day to play! We built an amazing track and played with Henry, Hiro, Harvey, and Harold the helicopter from Thomas the train! 

After all that playing and a healthy lunch, we treated ourselves to a Hershey bar!

On Friday we saved the lesson to do with Kieryn. We did hot chocolate and yoga! We did some counting with marshmallows too...

On Saturday we had visitors from Seneca! The kids had a lot of fun together!

We ended letter H week in style with horse rides! The vet clinic across the road from us had an open house! The kids loved it!

I love these guys so much! Hectic but oh so HAPPY!

Great week!!

We began Monday with letter G. The boys enjoyed using grapes for making letter G, matching upper and lowercase G/g, and patterns. We traced and then did some golfing!

On Tuesday Ronan played at Aunt Janell's while I worked at Flint Hills Fitness. The boys practiced cutting and gluing with grass and giraffes.

Then I had Micah again on Wednesday so we did some tracing, color match and motor skills with gum balls, a number puzzle and a goat craft using shapes the boys could name! Later we did some guitar playing!

Ronan spent the morning at Janell's again on Thursday so I could drive Steven to his follow-up apt in Lawrence. They took out his stitches and cleared him for physical therapy! He has to spend the next 6 weeks in his brace.

On Friday we had a busy morning as it was picture day for Kieryn. Ronan and I had lunch with her and then came home for our lesson...we did glitter G and made some special G gifts for grandparents! Will be arriving in a few days...

Then we did some big/little practice with giraffes and geese. 

No pics of Kieryn this week...sad! I did two longer bike rides with her this week. She is really liking it! We did a family bike ride this afternoon! We are really enjoying this mild weather! We have been reading a lot too. She is able to read simple books and sound out words. She is very proud if herself! It is really fun to watch!
