Due to the Labor Day holiday, we began our letter day at Grandpop and Grandmom's. We read a book, did a quick "D/d" match and then the kids had a dance party.
Tuesday was Kieryn's first day of school, so we surprised her with donuts!
Both kids were very excited!
We took our Preschool pics before Daddy left for work...
And then did a quick letter D activity... tracking letter D and making a dog.
After school the kids played drums...
and we pretended to be doctors.
On Wednesday we tried some dates with breakfast... they weren't really a favorite.
After we got ready for school, we traced number 4 and counted four ducks!
We then watched a quick video on Daniel and the lions, talked about it and did a puzzle.
We ended the morning's lesson with name practice on a dinosaur!
Then after lunch we did some digging in dirt for dinosaurs!
We even got to have dirt cake for dessert at dinner!
On Thursday morning I flew out of Harrisburg airport early to Kansas to attend my Grandpa Bergman's funeral. While I was gone, the kids got to have a special Daddy Day! Steven got to stay home with the kids on Thursday and he took them out to eat at their favorite restaurant that night! On Friday my friend Tawni spoiled the kids and Steven by watching the kids while Steven worked and then treating them to dinner when he was done. So blessed to have wonderful friends here in PA!
It was a fun trip back, but I am happy to be home with Steven and the kiddos!
