Fun Fun!

We spent a lot of time out doors again this week! We are really enjoying the weather!

On Monday we investigated a new "play/swimming" spot! It is called Boathouse Park. The kids loved it and we'll be going back again soon!

 

We let the kids have a slumber party one night this week... went well but neither wanted to do it again... wonder if they were both to wiggly and neither got good sleep?!?

We played with friends our community playground, played in the water/sprinkler, and our new swimming pool (pics to come!)

Then on Friday night we visited... you guessed it... HERSHEY PARK! 

What a great week! Hoping the warm weather continues! :)

Summer is finally here!!

We had such a fun week! The weather was in the 80s nearly every day and Steven began softball which makes it feel more like summer too! These boys are softball game buddies... Ronan, Hunter, and Cole!

On Tuesday we played at Cleona park with friends and then worked on our Mother's Day surprises for the grandmothers... so no pics.. ssshhh, it's a surprise!

Then on Wednesday we visited Kieryn's school for a "Muffins for Mothers" day. The kids sang the mothers a few songs  while we enjoyed a yummy muffin and then we were surprised us with some special gifts!

Ronan had fun too!

On Thursday we visited some friends for a backyard play date; complete with sprinklers, trampoline, swings, club house, and sandbox. The kids had a blast!

On Friday we had some fun with our friends at the baseball fields... while the Daddys were fixing up the field, the kids played in the giant dirt pile... dirt meant for the fields... they loved it!!

Over the weekend we had so much fun with Tiana, Grandmom, and Grandpop!

We spent Saturday at Shank Park and Bullfrog Valley Pond. It was a perfect day to be outside...The kids (and Steven) loved the big hill for rolling and running up/down!!

The kids got popcorn and a late night movie...

And we surprised Grandmom with a gift on Sunday morning...

She loved it! Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms!!

Zealous Week!

Finished the alphabet! This week was the final letter - Z! We began on Monday with some letter and sound review...

Then while Kieryn was at school, Ronan and I enjoyed some sun and some "big trucks". We watched the excavator load rocks for nearly 45 minutes. Ronan loved that AND playing in the dirt!

On Tuesday we talked about zebras and made zebra masks!

On Wednesday we practiced our zigging and our zagging... we walked, jumped, rode cars, drove cars, bear crawled... they had way more fun with it than I expected!

On Thursday we traced number "0" zero! Then we practiced some counting and work with zero. 

On Friday we made a sleeping z and they showed me what it looks like to sleep (so cute - They both did pretend snoring too). We did some dancing and then packed up to go to Maryland!

On Saturday we had beautiful weather for the National Zoo!! What a way to end the alphabet and letter z week!

Kieryn and Tiana had so much fun together this weekend!

 

Ronan fell asleep for the last 30-40 minutes of the trip, but his favorite animal to see was the tiger!

While at the Copp house, we celebrated Tiana's 8th birthday! It's so hard to believe that she's getting so big so quickly! We love you Tiana!

We spent the rest of our visit outside enjoying the warm weather!

On Sunday night we made our official announcement... Kieryn and Ronan are excited to be moving back to Kansas in Dec./Jan. for Daddy's future job at K-State. We'll miss lots of people here in PA, but are looking forward to being back in Wildcat country!
