Lovely Week!

We began the week with some sensory play. I've never colored pasta before... but it turned out to be easy! The kids loved it and played with it for 2 days!

Ronan played first while Kieryn was at school. He wasn't so sure about it at first, but once he got going he really loved it!

Kieryn and Ronan had a blast with it when they played together.

Later that day we did a lemonade handout, finding the large lemonades. Then we enjoyed a glass of lemonade with our lunch!

After supper we had lollipops!

On Tuesday we did a lot with legos. First we painted...

Took a break to play in the snow... just enough snow to do some sledding behind the house. The kids love their new sled.

Later we built and pretended with the legos and that evening did a lego color match. I was impressed that by the end Ronan could match the colors very well!

We tried a couple rounds balancing it on a spoon as you brought the lego to the paper but that was short lived...

On Wednesday we read some ladybug books and did a family ladybug game. Had to roll the dice, count the dots, and then find the numbers and cover with a piece of chocolate... we ate them all gone afterwards of course!

On Thursday we read a book about the lion and the lamb. We then did some role play and practiced animal sounds!

I had a color match handout and practice tracing letter L...

Ronan got to do the handout too!

Later Queen Elsa gave us a performance...

and Ronan took care of his new best friends... he laid them on the pillows all by himself. Later he shared his snack and drink with them. So cute!

On Friday we talked about God's love for us and then did a "l" letter search and practiced tracing the letter again. Later we did a letter l hunt in the house!

Had the kids take turns water painting on the chalkboard on Saturday while we got ready for guests that evening...

this kept them entertained for a surprisingly long time while I prepared the food!

The kids had so much fun on Saturday night with their friends McKenzie and Callen!

And today we're recovering... Ronan was up most of the night coughing.. hopefully he will feel better soon!
Until next week!

Settling back in... Happy New Years!

We are getting back into the routine of things after celebrating the holidays! We had a few of Kieryn and Ronan's cousins over on Tuesday and Wednesday... they all got to go to Hershey Park!

We celebrated the new year with some friends from church... and then have just been playing with all our new Christmas goodies!

We hope you all had a wonderful New Years!
Until next week!

Crazy busy past two weeks!

We began the week with some brother-sister bonding over nut spreads! Kiery LOVES chocolate soread and Ronan prefers peanut butter!

The next few days were spent packing and running last minute errands before our trip to Kansas!

On Wednesday morning Kieryn had her first school Christmas program! She was so excited! I surprised her with a new headband to wear with her dress. She loved it!

All grown up... (tear)

Then on Wednesday evening we loaded up the kids, a packed supper, and our suitcases and headed to BWI! The kids were so excited to fly to Kansas. Luckily it was late enough that they slept most of the flight and all of the car ride back to Seneca.

BWI had a little play area where we got some energy out and had our picnic.

While in Kansas, we played lots of fun games...

sang lots of songs and danced...

caught up with friends...

did some crafts...

enjoyed the farm life...

snuggled with family...

and of course, OPENED LOTS OF PRESENTS!

We arrived back in PA on 12/23, so we did some relaxing, unpacking, and helped Daddy with some work...

Then we enjoyed our own family Christmas!

Then on Friday we packed up again and headed to Maryland for Christmas with the Copp family...
AND MORE PRESENTS!

Don't worry, it's just a marshmallow shooter! Uncle Kevin had more fun with it than the kids did! :)

The highlight of the visit was the metro ride into DC to see the trains and Christmas trees around the White House. The kids LOVED riding the metro!

Hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas and have a very Happy New Years!

 Until next year...
